The scored lines are contingent on both the movement light and the viewer. This investigation has led to a concern with connecting the viewer to existing phenomena that may be less apparent without the lines. Looking at a mirror might tell one about its reflective properties; looking at the scored lines however elucidates that which influences them. The appearance of the lines is constantly changing and entirely dependent on the conditions one finds them in. In that sense the scored lines’ work can take place anywhere, in that the work occurs in the results of placing the lines in any given scenario.
